Job description

　　DoorWorx is searching for a qualified Quality Manager with experience in the exterior and interior door manufacturing process. The primary focus of this position will be to develop and ensure adherence to quality protocols throughout the manufacturing process, from receiving raw material to loading of finished goods, that will allow for 100% customer satisfaction upon the delivery of each load while minimizing internal waste and/or rejections. These protocols will consist of the following but not limited to; inspections of raw materials and documentation, creating work instructions, developing quality check requirements and frequencies along with documentation for in process and finished goods, creating inspection process and documentation for finished goods, implementing a system to measure quality performance through statistical data analysis, developing a corrective action program, improve the non-conforming materials process to include proper isolation and documentation, and develop quality training programs for new hires as well as continuing education quality programs for all employees. Plant located in Boaz, AL.

　　Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes

　　Devise and review specifications for products and processes

　　Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance

　　Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations

　　Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback

　　Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards

　　Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements

　　Approve conforming products and identifying non-conforming products

　　Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis

　　Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met

　　Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives

　　Identify opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures

　　Requirements and skills:

　　Proven experience as quality manager, 5+ years in door manufacturing

　　Conscientious and responsible

　　A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach

　　Outstanding communication skills

　　Excellent organizational and leadership skills with ability to manager others

　　Proficient in MS Office

　　In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards

　　Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods

　　Certification of quality control is a strong advantage
