Quality Manager
SUMMARY
• Plans, coordinates and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with TS16949 standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops and analyses statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
• Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities and products.
• Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
• Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.
• Q.A. manual maintenance.
• Employee Q.A. training on SPC technique, problem solving using SPC methods.
• Upgrade quality related facilities (Q.A. lab, inspection equipment and documentation)
• Prepare and update control plans (receiving, in process, final and welds effectiveness if necessary)
• Determine SPC characteristics, include control plans.
• Prepare sample submission packages.
• Prepare and update FMEA.
• Trouble shooting on the floor is there is any non conformance existing on the part and prepare cap/study.
• Review component specifications.
• Gauge/fixture - calibrate gauges.
• Contact / visit customer plants.
• Keep track of the control charts being plotted on a regular basis without any failure.
• Quality cost updates with Administration.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Complies with health and safety rules of the company.
• Conducts accident investigations.
• Maintains high level of housekeeping.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Directly supervises all employees in the Quality Assurance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability to successfully perform the job.
Education and/or experience
• Four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management and customers.
Mathematical Skills
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
