If you are an experienced Quality Manager looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland and Alliance Compressors has an exciting opportunity for you! Manufacturer of residential and light commercial refrigeration compressors, you will work in a multifaceted and high-tech production facility based in our Natchitoches, LA location.
The Quality Manager has overall responsibility for the plant’s quality culture and for leading the quality team to meet business and plant objectives. As part of the plant leadership team reporting to the Plant Manager, the quality manager must support and lead concerning all plant objectives, primarily safety and service levels.
AS A QUALITY MANAGER YOU WILL:
Work closely with customers to understand both product quality issues and quality expectations for new/existing products
Establish and monitor quality policies and procedures that ensure compliance to all quality standards, specifications, and requirements associated with the procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and test of products and services. Drive improvements through the use of the Corrective Action Process and Nonconformance system.
Responsible for maintaining quality programs compliant and certified to ISO 9001 2015
Accountable for leading day-to-day operations to increase production while reducing costs, and improving quality, timely delivery and safety levels.
Develop performance measures to assess manufacturing conformance to requirements. Drive improvement of the metrics.
Assist in making equipment and staffing decisions to support long-term business levels.
Coordinate all required inspection activities, as well as hosting 3 rd party agencies and customer audits.
Responsible for the consistent application of company policies in the department.
Coordinate and connect with all levels of the organization.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business or related field
5+ years of shown experience in Quality, Engineering, and or Manufacturing Operations
3+ years of demonstrated ability to lead teams
Experience with ISO 9001 requirements, SPC, procedure writing, and document control.
Demonstrate the outstanding capability to encourage and mobilize individuals, harnessing their collective talents and passions, to rally them toward a shared vision and purpose, achieving results.

Alliance Compressors LLC develops, manufactures, and markets one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space.
