Ensure products meet qualityconformance specified by customer. Responsibilities: Perform \"samples\"selection and package for shipment. Perform visual inspection of randomsamples of product selected during a production run, or post production,looking for a variety of possible defects such as ragged edges, torn orwrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotchedcolors, dirt on the product, and any other visual defect that is out ofspecification. Follows inspection checklist and records any identifieddefects. Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)to ensure product meets quality conformance specified by the customer.Prepares written reports and provides notification to manufacturingmanagement of known or found defects. Identify potential issues andinvolve department Lead and/or management to determine an appropriatesolution. May assist with special projects or more complex customerorders. May assist with disposition of defective or non-conformingproduct. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High SchoolDiploma or GED preferred 2 or more years of experience in a qualitycontrol/assurance function in a printing environment required Requiresgood knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operationsprocedures and knowledge of job specific processes key to successfullyexecute and complete the duties of the job.
