Job Description Performs visual inspectionof printed materials for defects. Responsibilities: Perform \"samples\"selection and package for shipment. Perform visual inspection of randomsamples of product selected during a production run, or post production,looking for a variety of possible defects such as ragged edges, torn orwrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotchedcolors, dirt on the product, and any other visual defect that is out ofspecification. Follows inspection checklist and records any identifieddefects. Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)to ensure product meets quality conformance specified by the customer.Provides notification to manufacturing management of known or founddefects. May assist with disposition of defective or non-conformingproduct. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High SchoolDiploma or GED preferred 2 or more years of experience in a qualitycontrol/assurance function, especially in printing environment preferredRequires knowledge of general administrative and manufacturingoperations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes key tosuccessfully execute and complete the duties of the job.
