Job Description
The Louisville, Kentucky site of BAE Systems is seeking aQuality Engineering Manager - GD&T. In this role, the Quality Engineering Manager serves as the site GD&T Subject Matter Expert (SME) and acts as a liaison with external stakeholders. The role is tasked to oversee a team of laser and manual instrumentation GD&T quality inspectors. Reports directly into the Louisville site Quality Manager.
This role is on the 9/80 work schedule. Every other Friday off!
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically requires a Bachelors in a related discipline (i.e. Quality, Engineering, Management) and six years of Quality related experience, or an Associates in a related discipline and eight years of Quality related experience, or the overall equivalent;
Must have experience supervising staff and managing a team;
Ability to support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment;
Possesses or able to obtain a secret clearance;
Highly effective communication skills, written and verbal;
Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization;
Strong organizational and priority-setting skills;
Ability to read and compile technical reports/information;
Must have a proven background in GD&T;
Able to support on-site at the Louisville manufacturing facility;
Computer proficiency to include MS Office Suite and other industry-related software.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred, but not required:
Advanced spatial analyzer software experience;
Metrology apprenticeship or greater.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $102200 - $173700
