　　Position Summary

　　As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary project teams and be responsible for providing independent assurance that quality and ASPICE process activities in product development at BorgWarner ESS are in compliance with defined processes and that process quality issues are tracked to closure.

　　Key Roles and Responsibilities

　　Implementation and further development of quality assurance process (with HOQ)

　　Creation of tailored Quality Assurance Plan and strategy for ASPICE projects

　　Conduct regular internal ASPICE audits to assess process execution and work product quality

　　Performs quality checkpoint reviews to ensure that the expected quality provided in milestone releases

　　Follows up the resolution of the non-conformances/issues (e.g. gap closure to reach expected ASPICE Capability Level)

　　Define and review project quality assurance metrics and report the quality status to the project team and management

　　Escalate quality issues according the escalation plan

　　Review of change requests and issues

　　Provide active support to project managers and engineers on quality performance (consulting, training and process mentoring)

　　Active support for compliance with ASPICE product development processess

　　Preparing for and supporting ASPICE assessments (by independent assessor BW, third parties or customers)

　　Job Requirements and Qualifications

　　Experience as a quality engineer in an industrial environment

　　Knowledge of quality and product development processes (Hardware and Software)

　　Basic knowledge of power electronics is an advantage

　　Knowledge of ASPICE standard (working experience as a Provisional ASPICE assessor is a plus)

　　Strong conceptual and analytical skills

　　Good communication and presentation skills in English (German is a plus)

　　Education and Experience

　　You have a basic technical education, preferably in the field of electronics, with further training as a quality engineer. Several years of experience in the field are essential.Your experience, independent working style and high degree of personal responsibility will enable you to find pragmatic solutions together with our interdisciplinary teams. You are responsible and have the ability to keep track of complex processes.
