　　Abaco Systems is looking for a Quality Engineer. In this role you would be responsible for customer, supplier, and internal quality initiatives. Serve as one of Huntsville's customer quality points of contact tasked with resolving issues as needed.

　　Use of data driven analytics to lead quality initiatives to reduce cost, reduce lead times, improve first pass acceptance, and grow both Abaco and supplier organizationsResponsible for improvement of key process metricsSupport an effective and motivated workforce and provide leadership for improved team results and employee involvementWork as a change agent combined with the ability to work at various levels and cross functionally in the organizationLead RCCA activities for customers, suppliers, and internallyLead improvement activities involving Lean principles and toolsMeet as necessary with customers to resolve issues and problemsQualifications/Requirements

　　BS/BA Engineering or relevant experienceMinimum 5 years manufacturing experience as a quality professionalHighly effective communicator with all organizational levelsInclusive leadership styleDemonstrated computer competency, including Email, Excel, and Power PointProven leadership capabilityAS9100 or ISO9001 QMS experienceMust be US citizenAbility to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, and reach with handsMust be able to lift and move up to 50 lbsMust be able to read, speak and write effectively in EnglishAbility to resolve conflict in a positive wayDesired Characteristics
