POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Rhoads' Quality Management System ("QMS") and Customer Quality Requirements are being followed for all internal processes and procedures and customer projects. This is primarily accomplished through the process by which Rhoads identifies, creates, verifies, and submits objective quality evidence ("OQE") both internally and to its customers/third party auditors consistent with regulations, codes, contracts, and specifications.
Rhoads employees have first line responsibility for adhering to, and enforcing all applicable safety precautions and programs, and shall thoroughly read and understand, all Rhoads' standard procedures for maintenance of ISO 9000, ASME, and AISC certifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance and review of quality plans, submittal registers, test and inspection plans (both in form and substance) and ensure that they adhere with Rhoads' Quality Management System and customer requirements.Ensure that Rhoads QMS and customer requirements are captured with the appropriate OQE.To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project and quality teams and potentially external parties.Studies and reviews Request for Proposals, drawings, specifications, etc. to gain an understanding of project scopes to ensure the quality of production, and to identify any potential Quality Control challenges throughout a project.Ensures submittals are reviewed and approved as required by contract.Frequently conduct objective quality evidence audits confirming compliance with project requirements.Reviews test and inspection reports and notifies the appropriate personnel of deficiencies and corrective actions as needed.Conduct root cause analysis, lessons learned and internal audits, report to stakeholders on results and recommendations.Participate in the development, implementation, maintenance, and updates of policies and procedures for recording, indexing, and filing, retrieving, and deleting documents.Have a mature ability to lead effectively and work as part of a team.Possess substantial industry knowledge, continuous learning ability, innovative spirit, and agile problem-solving skills.Have intermediate skill in handling multiple responsibilities, setting priorities, managing tasks, and overseeing several projects simultaneously.Be proficient in working under time pressure.Possess good organizational skills, be detail-oriented & accurate, and demonstrate intermediate analytical skills.Report suggestion/recommendations to job supervisorPerform other duties as assigned.

Required: High School DiplomaPreferred: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE:
Two years of previous experience.Familiarity with quality assurance, archival, and document review processes.QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate and strategize scheduling in an industrial environment.Ability to review, understand, and apply various specifications.Understanding and familiarity with ISO, UL, and AISC Certifications.Customer Service, and Communications skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass all Background Clearances.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The performance of this position involves exposure to construction or industrial areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats and hearing protection is required.
