Reference #: 3201296Job SummaryThe Quality Control Technician is responsible for maintaining quality control of products.Schedule: 3:00PM - 11:30PM Monday through Friday - with weekends required depending on production scheduleEssential Duties/ResponsibilitiesNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Completes profiles on production finished materials and on product purchases and shipments per Company standards.Serves as liaison between the plant and Corporate or external contract laboratories with respect to product quality.Obtain, package, and ship samples for testing to Corporate or external contract laboratories.Submit test results to Supervisor, General Manager, Plant Manager and Quality Assurance Manager.Perform quality analyses on finished products.Maintains lab, materials, and work area in clean condition.Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules & regulations.All other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age.High School diploma or GED required.One year of prior laboratory experience.Preferred QualificationsWork well with others in a team, management, and regulatory environment.Highly organized; superior time management skills.Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.Safety conscience; detail oriented; able to multi-task.Good computer and math skills.Basic chemistry knowledge helpful.Physical DemandsFrequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.Frequently lifts up to 20 lbs.Occasionally push, pull, move, or lift 50 lbs.Regularly required reach with hands and arms.Work EnvironmentJob functions will be carried out in an office, lab, or plant environment
