This position is with an automotive supplier for TMMI located in the Princeton, IN area.
Schedule :
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Must be flexible with being on-call
Starting Rate :
$63,600/year -- paid monthly $5,300

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
Managing and motivating Team Members and Team Leaders responsible for inbound freight, receiving, warehouse control, material distribution within our facility, as well as managing packaging and shipments.
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.
Must ensure all policies and procedures are strictly followed.
Monitors attendance and performance of the members in the departments and implements Corrective Actions when necessary.
Provide leadership and safely meet production goals of the Princeton, Indiana plant. Duties include but are not limited to :
Directly supervise Generalists, Team Leaders (TLs), and Team Members (TMs) to ensure they are complying with set standards of positions.
Interprets company policies to subordinates and enforces safety regulations to ensure good TM relations.
Manages departments KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Establishes and monitors the knowledge and performance of Standardized Work
Executes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.
Investigates customer complaints and makes necessary adjustments according to established procedures.
Ensures 5S and actively drives continuous improvements within the departments.
Ability to build strong relationships with customers/suppliers and provide excellent customer support.
Coordinates with Production Team to ensure all shipments are accurately prepared and ready to ship.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, production, management, and all team members.
Ensure that processes of the QMS (Quality Management System) are established and maintained.
Report to top management on the performance of the QMS, including needs for improvement.
Promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Ensure that there is appropriate liaison with internal/external parties on matters relating to the QMS.
Manage the plant’s quality control processes for complete process/part inspection.
Collects and analyzes data to develop plans and schedules to mitigate problem areas.
Assure that all processes are operating in accordance with established procedures, standards, and work instructions to assure that all customer requirements/expectations are satisfied prior to shipment.
Assist top management in providing evidence of the company’s commitment to the development and improvement of the QMS.
Report and present quality information including quality improvement plans.
Assisting and assure that customer needs and expectations are determined, converted into requirements, and fulfilled with the aim of achieving customer satisfaction.
Assisting in the process of identification and availability of the necessary resources to assure the effective performance of the QMS.
Assuring the quality policies and objectives are established and effectively implemented.
Assure that the organization plans and manages the processes necessary for the continual improvement of the QMS.
Provide leadership to assure vision and values are understood, honored, and are not compromised.
Assure work systems are designed, organized, and managed to optimize employee performance and potential.
Provide recognition and reward practices that support objectives for customer satisfaction, performance improvement, and employee and organization learning goals.
Ensure appropriate employee education, training, and development is completed.
Devise sampling procedures and designs to develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
Directs team engaged in measuring and testing material and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
Participate in root cause analysis and verify effectiveness of implemented Corrective Actions.
Performs other duties as assigned: work on the production floor when needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES :
Previous supervisory or management experience (3 + years)
Microsoft Office experience
Excel experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures and regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Manufacturing experience
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients/customers. (cannot be afraid of speaking in front of a group of people)
Data entry experience
NICE TO HAVE :
Automotive manufacturing experience is highly preferred
Knowledge of Environmental ISO14001 is preferred
Associate's degree is not required, but is a bonus
