Quality Control Laboratory Technician - 8pm-4am

Your Role at KIK
Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for analytical and physical testing of products produced within the production facility, monitoring of critical quality systems, reporting and documentation as well as other general laboratory duties. Quality Assurance Technicians will work with operations ensuring that finished products meet our quality standards until product has left the facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
Review of production line parameters and performance for adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Guidelines and Facility Procedures.
Testing Samples for physical and chemical properties for adherence to Quality Specifications. Include Raw Materials and Finished Product.
Generating and Shipping samples for outside analytical testing.
Maintenance of the Quality Retain Program.
Maintenance of Instrument Calibration Program.
Responsible for laboratory cleanliness and organization
Responsible for documentation of testing, Holding product, internal investigations and root cause analysis
Responsible for making real time decisions and adjustments to products to ensure they meet the quality specifications.
Perform any other duties as required.
What You’ll Bring
Quality Assurance recommends a minimum of 2 nd year college chemistry, with excellent mathematics and problem solving skills. Technical background and/or experience in Quality Assurance a plus.
Quality Assurance should have good organizational skills and use programs like excel and word
Quality Assurance should be familiar with instrumentation such as Refractometer, viscometer, pH meter, digital titrators and an analytical balance.
Should have a mechanical aptitude plus be able to do wet chemistry – titrations, pH adjustment, and acid/base dilution.
