ITAC, LLC (formerly SMART Alabama) in Luverne, AL seeks Quality Control Engineering Technicians to work under direction of Lead Quality Control Engineer to test products and oversee technical projects. Candidates must prepare technical layouts, drawings and flow charts as instructed by Lead Engineer, and oversee technical projects such as equipment start-up and or calibration, trial runs, product inspection, and rework or modeling/forecasting plans. Must maintain technical documentation for all expansion and upgrade or improvement projects. As part of the duties must focus on modeling and and forecasting necessary to predict and plan for materials and support engineers in predictive maintenance, equipment evaluation, shut down planning in trial runs. Req. 12 mos experience as engineering technician in a manufacturing setting. Alt. Req. Associates degree (or equiv.) in Engineering Technology or Technician. The minimum age is 18 years of age.
