The Quality Assurance Supervisor inFranklin WI will be a key stakeholder for a new 340,000 square footconversion facility that is slated to open in 2023 and will play anintegral part of Saputo\'s strategy to optimize its cheese network inNorth America. Saputo has a strong history in Wisconsin and are proud tobe expanding our footprint in this area. The Quality AssuranceSupervisor directly supervises lab employees to maximize productivity ofassigned shifts and areas at the highest quality and food safetystandards. This includes training employees, planning, assigning, anddirecting work, addressing product and employee complaints, andresolving problems. This person carries out supervisory responsibilitiesin accordance with the Company\'s policies, Federal, State, and localregulations that govern our business. How You Will Make ContributionsThat Matter * Provide leadership and direction with team members tomaximize product quality, food safety and productivity. * Ensuresproper procedures are in place and being followed for product quality,employee safety, and state and federal guidelines. * Support QualityAssurance systems to satisfy internal and customer requirements toinclude process evaluation and product protection programs; processspecifications and standards; sanitation programs, HACCP and GMPprograms; production labeling; and product storage and distribution. *Actively support Food Safety systems and procedures department and plantwide. * Support internal and external audits. * Perform record reviewand follow up on variances. * Recommends improvements to productionmethods, equipment performance and quality of product. * Analyze andresolves work, quality and food safety variances through root causeanalysis and support team members with problem solving activities toensure product quality. * Maintains quality and food safety records. *Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities ofindividual departments. * Provides supervision of assigned employees inscheduling and daily activities, ensuring effective selection,retention, feedback, disciplinary action, and performance management. *Trains and instructs employees regarding quality and food safetystandards and processes. Oversees instruction, implementation, andenforcement of policies. * Engages in the typical responsibilities of asupervisor requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, anddelegating. * Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively applythe Saputo values. * Performs other duties as requested, directed, orassigned.
