About Quality Assurance Specialist III

  ResponsibilitiesLead members of the department/site team with development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems in support of accreditation and/or regulatory requirements. Oversee implementation and maintenance of regulatory standards for the Department/Site. Coordinate programs, policies, and practices to ensure compliance in all areas applicable. Research and draft event reporting and complaint responses as required by accrediting/regulatory/internal entities and goals. Integrate and utilize CPI methodology to improve and evaluate all aspects of the operations of the Department/Site. Work closely with departmental leadership to communicate requirements and to help develop and implement effective initiatives to ensure compliance. Partner with external organizations as appropriate to maintain regulatory compliance. Lead performance and scheduling of internal audits, failure investigations and corrective and preventative actions plans, and manufacturing and QC site audits.RequirementsRequired Education/Experience:BA/BS degree in biological sciences or other health related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of five years of healthcare experience in an area such as clinical laboratory, blood bank, cellular therapy collection or processing, oncology specialties including nursing, healthcare accreditation and compliance, or other health care related experience, or 3 years direct experience with all regulations related to the department's primary work.Required Credentials:N/A.Preferred:Master's degree in healthcare related field.Experience in quality assurance or quality control.Experience in regulatory/accreditation requirements.Experience in administering regulatory accreditation and compliance programs.Experience in healthcare related to the Department/Site's focus.Min to Max Hourly Salary$44.46 - $66.69 /hrMin to Max Annual Salary$92,482.00 - $138,723.00 /yrSalary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
