We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an entry level Quality Control Inspector in Norton Shores, Michigan, United States. The role is primarily within the manufacturing industry and requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. The selected candidate will be integral to maintaining and improving our quality standards, conducting inspections, and resolving any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct meticulous inspections of materials, components, and finished products to detect any defects or deviations from the set specifications.

• Collaborate with various departments such as production, engineering, and management, to communicate quality standards and contribute to process improvement.

• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer expectations in manufacturing processes and production lines.

• Use Microsoft 365 Enterprise and other relevant tools to maintain accurate records of inspections and tests, documenting any issues and the measures taken to address them.

• Identify problems and work with teams to determine the underlying cause and recommend corrective actions to prevent a recurrence.

• Continuously suggest methods to refine workflows, reduce errors, and optimize product or service quality.

• Ensure that the quality control procedures are adhered to and participate in quality control activities.

• Provide top-notch customer service and ensure that department records and department standards are maintained.

• Partner with other QA personnel to ensure quality-checking processes are efficient and effective.

• Contribute to quality improvement and quality control efforts within the organization.

Requirements • Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in similar industries

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to conduct inspections regularly and thoroughly to uphold the highest standards of quality

• Familiarity with maintaining department records in an organized and precise manner

• Demonstrated ability to uphold and enforce department standards consistently

• Experience working with a QA partner, collaborating on projects and initiatives

• Proficiency in quality-checking processes and techniques

• Deep understanding of quality standards within the industry

• Commitment to delivering quality service to all customers and stakeholders

• Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining quality processes

• Proficiency in conducting quality inspections and reporting on outcomes

• Proven track record in driving quality improvement initiatives

• Extensive knowledge of quality control principles and methodologies

• Experience in leading quality control activities and initiatives

• Familiarity with quality control procedures and ability to implement them effectively
