　　Key job responsibilities

　　This position will report directly to the head of 2nd and 3rd party Publishing Quality Assurance Manager. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to support the growth of the Quality Assurance organization in the EU region. This position entails supporting the testing effort of one of more titles from start to finish – test planning, test execution, tooling and automation initiatives, leading a diverse team of contract testers, reporting project status and signing off on the release criteria. You will have the opportunity to partner with other disciplines.

　　The main difference from other Sr. Test Lead roles is that at Amazon Games you will: get involved earlier and make a greater impact on projects; be in a position to help provide guidance on our quality assurance standards from the ground up; and be challenged to step beyond merely testing and truly affect overall quality (i.e. quality assurance). 　　A day in the life

　　A typical day for this role is to plan daily test tasks with team members based on current state of the build and requirements of upcoming milestones. This role will guide the efforts of both full time and vendors to develop Quality Assurance scenarios and execute passes. This person will provide guidance as issues arise which impact the daily/weekly Quality Assurance efforts.

　　About the team

　　This role will be a key member of the team of Amazon Games, reporting to the Senior QAM and working closely with our franchise team, operations team and the project developer. This role will help deliver Amazon Games' mission “to connect millions of gamers to each other and our games.” This is a hands-on low-ego team that works closely and collaboratively, with a high degree of mutual trust and support. We dive deep as needed in our titles to ensure our customers get the best experience possible.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer

　　Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an QAE role

　　Experience in automation testing

　　Experience in manual testing

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent

　　Extensive experience testing across a variety of platforms (PC, Consoles, mobile, etc.).

　　Significant Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Strong reporting skills, ability to surface key information/KPI, leverage analytics/telemetry and produce impactful reports to stakeholders and leadership.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
