Job Description:Overview:Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesInspects and tests components, parts, and assembled products for workmanship, compliance with specifications and regulatory standardsDrives quality back to production by communicating findings in a timely mannerTrain and mentor EIA auditors to the ability of a CPA auditorWorks with production to educate and to achieve a superior productPerforms other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the positionMust be able to drive and operate all Genie units manufactured in Moses LakeRepairing minor defects found on equipmentRequired Qualifications:Knowledge required may vary based on the specific requirements of different operating unitsIn general, the position requires knowledge of Genie products and components including electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and structural membersRequires understanding of Genie production processesRequires sufficient math skills to read and record detailed measurementRequires well-developed problem-solving skills to identify and remedy problems non-conforming quality related to materials, parts, or productionRequires working knowledge of inspecting and testing proceduresRequires sufficient human relations skills to discuss quality issues and resolve conflictAdditional experience in quality assurance or process control can substitute for higher educationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge required may vary based on the specific requirements of different operating unitsIn general, the position requires a basic knowledge of Genie products and components including electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and structural membersRequires a basic understanding of Genie production processesRequires sufficient human relations skills to discuss quality issues and resolve conflictPhysical Requirements10-hour shifts.Ability to lift 40 pounds throughout shift.Standing for long periods of time.Tripping hazards, bending, stooping.Salary:The salary range for this position is $23.25-$30.20 hourly/salary.
