About Accounting Coordinator / Bookkeeper

  Kforce's client, a growing New York City based Family Office is seeking an exceptional Accountant/Bookkeeper with QuickBooks expertise to join their finance team.Responsibilities:

  Efficiently manage and organize contracts and data to ensure accurate and accessible records

  Execute general ledger entries using QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records

  Record transactions on a cash basis, including foreign currency transactions and trust distribution activity

  Record incoming and outgoing payments promptly and accurately

  Conduct reconciliations between our event database and accounting records to ensure consistency and accuracy

  Collaborate in the processing of invoices to support smooth financial transactions

  Assist in the management of supplier data to ensure accuracy and completeness

  Enter data accurately and compile reports from the accounting system to support decision-making processes

  5 years of Bookkeeping and Accounting experience

  Knowledge of QuickBooks is required

  Proficient in using Excel for data analysis and reporting

  Familiarity with Adobe PDF for document management

  Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  Detail oriented to ensure accuracy

  Excellent written and oral communication skills

  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

  We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

  Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

  This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
