Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Associate for our second (3:00pm-12:00pm Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays as needed).
The role involves physical/chemical testing, visual inspections, and overall quality monitoring of plant functions and finished products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Conducting in-process analytical testing
Performing organoleptic and visual inspection
Auditing cook stations and packaging lines to ensure adherence to HACCP food safety protocols
Initiating corrective actions for any food safety or quality issues
Conducting equipment environmental swabbing
Maintaining effective communication across production and management levels
Completing all daily paperwork with accuracy and detail.
Qualifications
High School Diploma with 1-2 years of quality experience OR
Associate's degree in a science with minimum of 6 months to 1 year of GMP experience
Work Environment
The work environment may vary from hot (80 degrees) to cold (freezer/walk-in cooler). Work areas may be dry, dusty, or damp. The role requires using fingers for small movements, talking frequently to convey important instructions, hearing average or normal conversations, repetitive motions, and average visual abilities. Physical strength to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
