Quality Assurance
3rd Shift
Pay - $20 - $24 per hour
Description:
Primarily responsible for monitoring product quality during the manufacturing process, through on-line
observation and documentation. Communicates with Production, reference quality/GMP issues during the
process, and follows-up with written recommendations as needed. Randomly checks finished product, including
analytical tests and documents. Monitors the quality of incoming raw material
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Responsible for packaging pre-approval.
Responsible for completing Quality and CCP checks, as specified by the quality program requirements.
Performs GMP checks, reports deviations, and provides written documentation on the issues.
Conducts moisture, Aw and any other required analytical tests on finished product.
Is cognizant of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and reports areas of concern.
Assists in answering product quality questions during the production process.
Assures new/revised Standard Operating Processes (S.O.P.s) are out in production.
Assists as necessary in monitoring new product runs in the plant.
Monitors testing as needed, of raw ingredients introduced in the plant or in trial stages.
Works with leadership to ensure Ne-Mo’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) are followed.
May assist in training/be a Buddy for back-up employees or other QA Technicians.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with Quality, Food Safety, Maintenance,
Sanitation, Warehouse, and HR and all other support and leadership roles.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, policies and other applicable obligations wherever and
whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
Must be willing to work between 3 locations, all within 10 miles of each other.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
6 months to 2 years of previous inspection experience.
Targeting food inspection or manufacturing inspection.
Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word/Excel) required.
English a must.
Ability to lift 50lbs
