　　Description:

　　Looking for an entry level candidate to work in QA/QC doing basic lab testing. The candidate will work in three area's after pulling samples from the plant floor:

　　1.) In-process testing running acid/salt tests and taste testing

　　2.) pH/Viscosity testing and titrations

　　3.) Packaging/QA checking labels and code dates, checking bottles for cracks, leaks and weighing them and doing all documentation.

　　Other duties include:

　　Collect and test samples of ingredients, products or packages according to established procedures

　　Monitor processes to ensure they are operating correctly and consistently

　　Document all results neatly and precisely

　　Label and maintain product retention samples used to monitor the product throughout the established shelf life

　　Organize collected data for management review

　　Maintain lab equipment in a clean and orderly fashion

　　Communicate non-compliant results immediately to management

　　Monitor plant for compliance to GMP’s

　　Accurately weigh ingredients, colors, flavorings and seasonings

　　Test R&D samples for food safety & specification development

　　Conduct other duties, as assigned by the plant QA Supervisor or QA Manager.

　　Skills:

　　wet chemistry, laboratory, food industry

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　MUST: Bachelors or Associates Degree in Science

　　Need to be comfortable working in a manufacturing and lab environment.

　　PREFER: Wet chemistry lab experience
