Testing incoming raw materials, inspecting bulks shipments, and providing analytical support to the Engineering Department for process optimization.This is at the Old Fort, OH facility reporting: Monday - Friday 3:30pm to 11:30pm. with rotating weekends every 3 weeks. Weekend hours: Friday 7:30pm - Saturday 7:30am (12 Hours) and Saturday 7:30pm - Sunday 7:30am (12 Hours).What you'll do:Completes assigned routine analyses, required replicate testing and reporting, without direct supervisionProvides analytical and technical support to ensure personnel safety and proper equipment maintenanceInspects bagging and packaging lines for product specifications, such as weight, date code, and proper equipment operationsInspects all phases of plant production operations to ensure overall quality of finished productSamples and evaluates all incoming shipments for specification complianceEvaluates non-conforming results and initiates re-sampling, retesting, and/or on hold procedures as requiredAudits work performed for omissions, deletions, and errorsRecords all data obtained, using established formats and notation conventionsMaintains cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work areaMakes written/verbal releases of tested materials to production or shipping supervision, according to established quality control policiesCompiles summaries of test results for inclusion in regular departmental reportingParticipates in and lends support to the Quality Improvement ProcessFamiliar with the plant food safety program and basic HACCP principlesLift 50 pounds consistentlyWhat you'll need:Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Fluent in MS Office SuiteSAP experience preferred.Minimum Associate's degree in Chemistry or related science field or relevant work experience.Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science field preferred.Manufacturing Lab Environment Experience preferred.Hands on Knowledge of GC, ICP, and HPLC equipment preferred.What we'll offer:Competitive salary including annual bonus & Stock Incentive ProgramComprehensive benefits package along with generous 401KCareer ownership & developmentDiversity & Sustainability#piqChurch & Dwight is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.For more information on our company, our brands and our culture visit us atChurch & Dwight is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, m/f/disability/veteran.
