The QA/QC Field Engineer is a very qualified technical assistant to thefield, acting as a liaison between the QA/QC Journeyman, Foreman,Superintendents and office. In this role, candidate will support thetechnical tools (iPads, QA/QC software, BIM360Field, Bluebeam),communicate project specifications needed for and any supportdetails/drawings needed for QA/QC tasks (i.e. details of equipmentlayout, dimensions, equipment gear windows) needed to keep the fieldQA/QC resources efficient. The ideal candidate must be proficient in theuse of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, willing and able to learnproject checklist and issue management software packages, knowledge ofelectrical terminology and components is necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 4 years of related experience
or
Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology
Travel: Up to 100%
Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to: nights,weekends, and holidays.
Overtime may be required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads training needs for technology tools, software applications,and SOP\'s.Understands relational data sets for equipment and feeders and ableto generate reports from such data.Ensures detailed procedures and checklists are in place to documentthat equipment is installed and energized to the projectrequirements, applicable standards, as well as customer requirementsand specifications.Assembles project information that documents that the installationconforms to project requirements, applicable standards as well ascustomer requirements.Collects and enters data for KPI reporting and visual reporting.Provide support material and reports to project leads as required.Provide support for commissioning activities.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended toprovide guidelines for job expectations and the employee\'s ability toperform the position described.
