The anticipated salary range for this role is between $78,000.00 and $145,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. SUMMARY:
We are seeking an initiative-taking, self-directed Software Engineer - Quality - Web to ensure the quality of jeniusbank.com and other web applications for our Digital Bank. As a Software Engineer - Quality - Web you will be responsible for analyzing product quality. In this role, you will work within an Agile team and collaborate with the Product Owner, Designer, and Engineers and ensure quality of the deliverables.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases.
QA testing for complex web solutions (web sites) manual and automated
Participate in sprint planning and design sessions.
Work with the project team in understanding requirements for new projects
Review requirements/design documents to provide timely feedback.
Ability to flush out missing requirements and acceptance criteria and communicate them to management.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Defect reporting and management
Assists in the definition and implementation of quality standards, processes, and quality improvement programs.
Interact with development teams on issues and defects.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
3-5 years’ experience in experience in manual and test automation techniques
Knowledge of Headless Content Management Systems & experience testing web sites developed using CMS.
Experience designing, developing & maintaining test automation framework using JavaScript.
Experience of test automation using BDD (Cucumber), Gherkin and tools such as Cypress or Selenium (preferred)
Experience with Cross browser testing tools
Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD process tools, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
Experience analyzing bugs.
Experience with manual, responsive web, and mobile screen testing for web applications.
Experience with documenting test plans
Knowledge of web performance and accessibility testing
Experience and understanding of at least one agile methodology such as Scrum, XP, or SAFe.
Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
