Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

　　Responsibilities: Contribute to some of the most significant risk projects in the organization Work in a highly Agile environment with a global team of colleagues in Ireland, the UK, India as well as the U.S

　　Requirements: 7+ years of applicable developer experience A good knowledge of Python Hands-on development experience in object-oriented programming Good understanding of design pattern and best practices Proven database development experience with DB2/Sybase/Oracle Experience in high pressure working environment within a financial institute Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Team player, self-motivated Strong analytical skills

　　Desired skills: Keen interest and experience in investment banking domain (risk and/or product knowledge) Experience in Quartz and Java Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum team

　　Pay Range: $58.26 - $66.26
