Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Purchasing Specialist in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be working closely with both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments, utilizing your understanding of financial workflows and proficiency in tools such as NetSuite, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm part numbers, descriptions, pricing, and customer POs for opportunities marked closed/won in NetSuite before creating a sales order.

• Generate purchase orders for all subsidiaries, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues with orders in process with vendors. This may include handling end-of-life part numbers, shipping issues, and entitlement requests.

• Prepare and distribute weekly performance and operational reports for the Purchasing and AP departments, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Assist the AP department with processing payments, ensuring all transactions are completed in a timely manner.

• Handle additional administrative duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success

Requirements • Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Understanding of Buying Processes

• Excellent Communication skills

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Ability to perform Detailed Analysis

• Knowledge of Purchasing Functions

• Proficiency in handling Purchase Orders

• Understanding of Workflow Processes

• Experience in Procure-to-pay operations
