Position Summary:
The Psychometrist assures all appropriate pre-authorizations have been completed before administering testing and/or other related services. This position administers and scores psychological test batteries (determined by the supervising professional) evaluating cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, behavioral, and emotional status in order to assist medical professionals in differential neuropsychiatric diagnosis and related treatment decisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field
Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Psychometrist, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
Essential Job Functions:
Administer and score neuropsychological and psychological tests as defined in competencies.
Provide Neuropsychologist or Psychologist with description of patient's behavior during testing and observed incidentally.
Assist with research and other projects, including maintenance of clinical database.
Assist with scheduling and pre-authorization of all services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
