　　The Hampton Newport News Community Services Board is seeking a compassionate and skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing direct psychiatric services to clients. Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapy, medical evaluation services, medication management, clinical documentation, and reporting.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to clients.Administer medical evaluations and medication management as needed.Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in treatment planning meetings.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.Provide support, education, and guidance to clients and their families.Requirements: Medical degree with board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and some experience in clinical/hospital practice in service to the mentally ill. Licensed as a Psychiatrist in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia Controlled Substance Registration and DEA Registration.

　　The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
