This group is responsible for every day sales tools our sellers, presales engineers, customers, and partners use to drive Sales Growth.
Within the Sales Effectiveness team, system ownership includes: CRM solutions, Configure-Price-Quote, Data Visualization, RFP Management Tools, and other custom-built solutions. It is our mission to help deliver the best set of tools, data & processes that will enable our sales organization to drive continuous revenue growth.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head our Proposal Tools Team. The Proposal Tools Team is a dedicated software development unit focused on improving and expediting the proposal response process by creating Google-based applications and other home-grown tools. As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and automation of proposal responses for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Assist & guide team members throughout the development process. Hands-on development is required for this position.
Collaborate closely with business teams to understand requirements and align tool development with organizational goals.
Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for the development of proposal tools, ensuring they remain at the forefront of innovation.
Drive AI practices within the team, leveraging and advancing home-grown AI platforms for content generation.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment by encouraging creativity and excellence in software engineering and program management
Qualifications:
Strong background in software engineering with a proven track record of leading successful development teams or related functions.
Strategic thinker with a vision for platform architecture & stability.
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional business teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Interest in driving AI initiatives and other emerging technologies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards shared objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
6+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Software Programming, Information Technology, or Related Fields.
Demonstrated experience in project management and/or strategic planning.
Proficiency in Google-based application development, VBA, and hands-on coding in JavaScript.
Experience in SOAP-based web services and Rest APIs.
Proven ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2+ years in a people-manager role.
Experience in leading both Business and Technical projects or teams.
Understanding of RFP response processes & components
Experience with AI Development & LLM Training.
