　　What Is the Opportunity?

　　The Travelers Intern program provides qualified candidates an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand business experience. As a Property Claim Intern, you will receive valuable on-the-job training such as:

　　Claim Handling Fundamentals

　　Understanding Property Insurance Coverage

　　Utilizing Claim Handling Software: Guidewire Claim Center

　　Introduction to Property Damage Estimating Software: Xactimate

　　What Will You Do?

　　Internship Highlights include:

　　Complete challenging and meaningful work.

　　Learn about the insurance industry, different lines of business, interact with a variety of talented leaders from the organization and more!

　　Learn and understand effective strategies for property claim handling.

　　Develop knowledge of property insurance coverage, claim handling software, and property damage estimating software.

　　Perform other duties as assigned.

　　What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

　　We are most interested in students who are serious about entering the insurance industry and who are excited about the prospect of making Claim a future career choice.

　　Preferred areas of study include Business Administration, Risk Management, and Insurance

　　Undergraduate students completing their 3rd or 4th year preferred

　　Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills

　　Strong problem-solving skills

　　What is a Must Have?
