Our client, consumer packaged goods industry, is seeking a Project Researcher-Microbiology to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in microbiology including techniques used for isolating, growing, and identifying bacteria, serial dilutions and plate counting. which will align successfully in the organization.

　　Job Title: Project Researcher - Microbiology

　　Location: Montvale, NJ

　　Pay Range: $30 - $35 hourly

　　Contract: 1 year

　　What’s the Job?

　　Microbiology lab bench-based research and experiments for products using ex-vivo human skin models to evaluate antimicrobial efficacy.

　　Competitor and patent analysis and mapping, along with opportunity area analysis and gap identification.

　　Antimicrobial ex-vivo methodology development, adaptation and research.

　　Perform appropriate procedures and maintain laboratory records in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice standards.

　　Propagate and maintain appropriate microbial stocks.

　　What’s Needed?

　　Solid experience in previous microbiology-based role which includes techniques used for isolating, growing, and identifying bacteria, serial dilutions and plate counting.

　　Previous experience working with antimicrobial or time kill type methods.

　　Previous experience with clinical microbiology assays and/or ex-vivo models is desired.

　　Cell culture and Virology experience (optional).

　　BS degree in Biology or related science.

　　Excellent aseptic technique and strong familiarity with a Microbiology lab environment
