Position Summary
The Innovation Learning Laboratory at Morehouse School of Medicine is seeking candidates who are interested in in serving as a project manager for youth and young adult projects and initiatives lead by the Innovation Learning Lab. The Innovation Learning Laboratory is a pioneering hub dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare through imagination, and community-centric approaches. Located within the Department of Family Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine, the lab values forward-thinking strategies aimed at developing efficient solutions to serve and uplift diverse communities while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where diverse perspectives converge to tackle population and healthcare challenges. We encourage creativity, experimentation, and the exploration of unconventional ideas to drive meaningful change.
The Youth and Young Adult Project Manager will lead, facilitate, organize, promote, implement, evaluate, and report on our youth and young adult projects and Innovation Laboratory Initiatives for students, participants, and trainees. They will also lead any new youth and young adult projects that are awarded.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience
Must possess the ability to function independently.
Prior experience in organizational development, project and event management, budgeting and forecasting.
Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills
Must be detail oriented.
Good communication skills, English fluency, Spanish fluency is a plus
Prior experience working in a community-based setting.
Requires ability to travel. Must have a reliable source of transportation.
PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
Prior experience with clinical research and/or biostatics and/or data management software ( SAS , SPSS ) also beneficial.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
Responsible for project management tasks including budgeting/costs, timelines, project scope and reporting.
Facilitation of collaborative input and engagement across community partners by working closely with partners.
Oversee message development and participant engagement.
Responsible for the recruitment and application process for participants.
Responsible for curriculum development and training facilitation.
Responsible for partner contract development, execution, and monitoring.
Responsible for processing partner invoices and project supply/activity payments.
Responsible for managing and delegating tasks to the Youth and Young Adult Project Coordinator.
Assists with grant writing, grant application preparation and resource development.
Completes monthly & annual project reports.
Assists with development and formulation of the annual budget, prepares budgetary documents and reports.

Immunization Requirements
It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
