  About Company

  AIS Infrastructure was founded in 1977 and provides infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, and site development services for complex construction projects for a wide range of private enterprise and government agencies across the United States.   AIS Infrastructure is a wholly-owned operating company of ASRC Industrial (AIS). AIS was founded in 2016 by Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. As part of an ANC, AIS Infrastructure is a Minority Business Enterprise. Their AIS BCSS group is also a certified 8(a) business, offering further contracting advantages to government agencies. These designations help clients meet their diversity spending objectives, while also providing sustainable returns for 13,600 Iñupiat shareholders.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.

  Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.

  Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.

  Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project requirements are met.

  Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:

  Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field, preferred.

  Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.

  Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.

  In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management.

  Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software.

  Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  Customer service and client management skills.

  Travel

  Travel to project sites and client meetings may be required.EEO Statement:
