　　This position will be as part of a joint venture team and the selected candidate will be hired by Jacobs, one of the JV or teaming partners.

　　Our onsite Program Management team in Chicago, IL is looking to add an experienced and collaborative Project Manager - Utilities in support of a multi-billion-dollar airport capital Redevelopment Program. The redevelopment will occur in the middle of an active airport and the existing terminal and concourses will remain operational while the new facility is built in place in a phased approach. This position allows for the opportunity to be a major contributor to the growth of one of the busiest airports in the world as part of the program management team.

　　Reporting into the Senior Project Manager for Utilities, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of utility construction activities, field oversight of utility work performed by ComEd, AT&T, Peoples Gas, and other utilities, stakeholder coordination with CDA departments, construction oversight, reporting, problem solving, risk assessment, and preparation of presentation material. You will track utility construction project scope of work, risk, cost, schedule, budget, quality, and safety, prepare daily reports on utility construction inspection activities and inspects workmanship of finished installations for conformity with contract drawings and standards, along with tracking utility contractor or utility staff presence on the jobsite, delivery of utility related materials, and quantities of work performed.

　　You’ll be relied on to provide input on utility construction methods, staging, scheduling, and project execution plan, facilitating resolution of technical and contractual issues (design and construction), review designs for adequacy and unambiguous information, monitor and report on progress and issues affecting utility construction projects, and the application of QA/QC standards and the design review process including miscellaneous technical reviews and scope development.

　　Here's What You'll Need:

　　Bachelor degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field

　　5+ years of construction management experience

　　5+ years of utility-related experience

　　Demonstrated experience in utility construction management

　　Ability to work onsite full time at O’Hare International Airport with the program management team

　　Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
