ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all project management aspects of the power simulator projects within Power Simulator Department and DCC Projects in Power Department and provide support to Project Management Office;
Liaise with engineering departments to ensure the technical integrity of the projects;
Manage all suppliers/subcontractors and manufacturers of products of the projects to ensure technical, schedule and budget compliance;
Review project terms and conditions, scope of work and schedule;
Evaluate project risk and develop mitigation plans, as required;
Participate in monthly project reviews;
Review project expenditure, cash collection and EAC forecasts;
Submit monthly progress reports;
Manage customer expectations;
Keep management fully informed on progress.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Engineering, Commerce or Management;
Minimum 3-5 years’ work related experience after graduation;
Familiarity with power plant simulators, specifically modeling design, testing, integration and support would be an asset;
Familiarity with various standards pertaining to nuclear applications would be an asset;
Familiarity with controls systems for industrial applications, specifically hardware design, testing, installation and support would be an asset;
Familiarity with various IPC and CSA standards pertaining to both components and nuclear applications would be an asset;
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills both in French and English;
Organized and structured approach with the ability to manage own time effectively while operating across multiple projects;
Demonstrable experience in project scheduling, reporting and work package management;
PMP certification is desirable;
