For Grid Solutions, Offshore HVDC represents a key differentiating technology and a central focus for the business, particularly in Europe where Transmission System Operators have very ambitious renewable energy targets. In that context and for Netherlands, Grid Solutions is partnering with TenneT, which plans to invest more than $30B by 2030 in deploying new HVDC converter stations to bring Offshore Wind energy into Germany and the Netherlands.
In this context, Grid Solutions is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will oversee and coordinate OFF-Shore package as part of a portfolio of several mega HVDC projects in the Netherlands (contracts value > $1B).

and be directly responsible of large strategic work packages, including the delivery of the HVDC OFF-shore. The Project manager OFF-Shore will report to the Project Director
Roles and Responsibilities
Turnkey Self-Implement (TKSI), Turnkey with Partner (TKP) - Large, complex multi-year or EPC projects. Responsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources on TKSI or TKP projects.
Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications
This role requires significant experience in the Project Management & Turnkey Project Management, preferably in the T&D, Power or Renewable Energy industry.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college( Preferably a technical degree)
Language: English (mandatory) and German would be a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Desired Characteristics
Experience in off-shore projects will be a decisive advantage
Technical knowledge in electrical grids and ideally power electronics / HVDC will be an advantage
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
