How will you make a difference to PMI?Senior level professional with deep and extensive knowledge of and vast experience with Project and Program Management principles, practices, concepts, and theories. Responsible for delivery and reporting on project metrics and results. Achieves results by directing, overseeing, coordinating and maintaining project activities, procedures, and resourcing, and ensures they are in line with organizational strategy. Activities impact not only organizational work but also other project aspects. Responsible for the performance of the project team.What you'll bring to the role:Steer business expectations and perceptions for projects and support ongoing two-way communication.Monitor the project's outcomes, benefits, risks and costs aligned with of the project scope.Achieve results by planning and managing project activities and resourcing. Participates in prioritization within the projects and cross-projects.Contributes to agile and complex projects necessitating the application of new and unique approaches and facilitates alignment to projects.Serve as escalation point for project team to raise risks to delivery, ensuring customer/organizational expectations, goals, and objectives are understood and met.Escalate to appropriate Portfolio leader.Provide project teams with guidance and resources for project needs.Builds strong working relationships with across the enterprise.Interact and influence management on a regular basis to proactively support business objectives within project.Mentor lower-level Portfolio OwnersScope of work may be global; regional and/ or multi-country reach and impact.Responsible for leading project teams through highly complex objectives, milestones, obstacles and priorities while focusing delivering on multiple mid to long term project plans.Manage project budget working with other key stakeholders.Role Qualifications:Bachelor's degree within a related field (required)Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English) (required)10+ years of professional work experience in, Program and Project Management.5-7+ years of matrix organization experience (preferred)Experience and ability to lead across projects towards a common vision. Proven ability to manage agile team environments.Overall understanding of business imperatives and sensitivities and various methodologies.Demonstrates skills, knowledge, and experience aligned with PMI's Talent Triangle.Knowledge of industry standard portfolio management software solutionsOutstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work.Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization.Experience leading teams in an agile, dynamic customer-centric project environmentPMP (required) and Agile Certification (preferred)
