We're building a sustainable network of high-tech, end-to-end manufacturing solutions to better withstand disruptive events, serve scientific discovery, and reach those in need.For more information, please visitThe Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the on-site planning, oversight and execution of all project-related tasks and activities required to fulfill contracted scope and to satisfy the expectations of the company and its clients. This role is essential to executing projects to appropriate standards, and in support of company franchises and modalities, to include coordinating a team of subject matter experts from various functional areas to track and manage their activities as assigned. The PM will assist with the creation, maintenance, and oversight of project schedules, will ensure adherence to project scope, will work closely with Program Control to manage project budgets, and will play the primary point of contact to clients for both the business and technical aspects of their projects. It is the PM's role to integrate contracted scope into the project plan and for communicating this information to all members of the cross-functional team. The PM may mentor subordinate staff and will support the mission, vision, and direction of the Program Management Office (PMO) by ensuring execution of daily responsibilities in keeping with established policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, the PM will be responsible for recommending and driving continuous improvement efforts within the PMO. Detailed responsibilities are listed below.Essential FunctionsPlans, executes and coordinates of all aspects of the project, on-site in Cincinnati area locations, in order to maintain schedule, budget, scope and quality in accordance with project requirements.Ensures the dissemination of approved work scope to team members, working with operations leads and capacity planning to assign and schedule tasks related to the introduction of new projects within the siteOversees all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilitiesManages the project budget to include planning and cost/resource implications of the approved work scope, and tracking expendituresAssists with development of project integrated master schedulesProvides project management leadership to a cross-functional Product Development Team (PDT) required to conduct the project scope of work (ex. PD, Manufacturing, QA, QC, RA) and helps to define the mission, vision and direction for the PDT.Supports clinical and commercial development initiativesManages client and other project stakeholder relationships, communications, requirements and expectations, and interfaces directly with the clientAnticipates and proactively manages changes in project scope.Creates and maintains the records and historical files for the project.Manages project performance (through Earned Value or other methods).Assists with writing reports and drafting SOPs (as necessary).Assists with coordination and tracking of issue resolution.Ensures excellent communications within the team, to leadership, to any other relevant stakeholders and to the client.Provides primary point of contact with the client to include coverage of both technical and business-related discussionsPrepares and conducts program reviews and presentations of technical information with the department, across functional areas to clients and to senior managementAssists with coordination of the development of subcontractor Statements of Objectives and Statements of Work.Coordinates and manages activities being conducted by subcontractors.Work
