Summary We are actively seeking a candidate to act as a Project Manager 1 within our Oakdale, MN location. The ideal candidate is one who will thrive working in a highly dynamic, team-oriented environment, sharing the common goal of providing reliable data to our clients that can be used to improve the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical products. Candidates must have the ability to communicate and interact professionally and clearly with clients and members of the management team. Candidates must possess a desire to work closely with clients and the laboratory to facilitate project completion. This includes: managing project scope, work order generation and management, overseeing project timelines and deliverables, and monitoring project budget. Candidates will have superior organizational skills, and the ability to rapidly learn computer applications. Preferred candidates will have experience working within a cGMP facility or a laboratory background. Responsibilities will include working with operations to understand various issues, providing creative input toward resolution, and effectively communicating status and problem-solving approaches with clients. Job Responsibilities: Internal/External Client Communication Serves as clients' primary point of contact regarding project updates, issues, deliverables, and scope changes. Leads internal and client-facing meetings in person or via teleconference. Develop and provide associated agendas and meeting minutes. Collaborates with the sales team, laboratory staff, and quality assurance (QA) to ensure project scope and timelines are met. Project Management/Oversight Assists with developing or participating in project management or cross-functional program directives, including proposed budgets, timelines, materials, and other project requirements. Work within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to make updates to projects, manage costs, and track project status Support Stability personnel by authoring stability protocols and assisting with the initiation and review of studies as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in project management, a science-related field or equivalent previous industry experience 2+ years experience preferred Prior experience working in a cGMP laboratory setting is preferred Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills are required. Ability to draft functional and professional correspondence, documents, and other written materials. Understanding of the administration and oversight of project management programs and methods to resolve issues, questions, and concerns Keen attention to detail and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures Ability to multi-task and be flexible with changing priorities The ideal candidate is self-guided, motivated, and possesses a strong sense of initiative Physical/Mental Requirements: The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
