Job Summary:
The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for managing, coordinating and administering small to large engineering and/or EPC terminal/facility projects within the midstream oil & gas markets. Duties will include the planning and executing assigned projects from the conceptual stages through detailed Enginering , procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, and prime contract close-out. Project Manager will supervise the development of estimates, budgets and schedules, manage performance, report progress, and initiate action to assure program/project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and according to specifications.
Primary Job Function:
Adhere to Strike’s safety programs, training and policies, as well as promote and manage the EHS performance of project team members and subcontractors.
Coordinate project team workloads to ensure project deliverables are generated on schedule and in adherence with Client requirements and specifications.
Schedule, conduct and lead both external and internal project team meetings as well as engineering/design reviews and record project information.
Develop plan and oversee project cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structure establishment, project set-up and closeout per Strike’s internal procedures.
Generate project progress reports and schedule updated for submittal and review by the Client.
Develop new and manage existing Client relationships while collaborating with the Client for proposal and project execution related items.
Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of terminal and/or midstream facility project management experience including project scoping and estimating, cost and schedule control, risk management, design and construction management, team building, resource planning, procurement, contracts and permitting.
Field experience in the construction of tanks, tank farms, pipe racks, rail racks, truck racks, docks, manifolds, roads, drainage, flares, concrete structures, steel structures and other related functions.
Managing Engineering teams/personnel across Process, Mechanical, Piping, IEA and Civil/ Structural disciplines including project estimating and TIC estimating.
Education/Training:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required as a minimum.
PMP Certification is preferred.
