  Job Summary

  To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Project Manager, Critical Power Solutions located in Henrico, VA.

  Reporting to the Director, Program Management the Project Manager, Critical Power Solutions will be based in Henrico, VA will be responsible for managing projects of medium complexity in order to meet the performance indicators (cost, delivery, quality, etc) of a specific organization..

   What a typical day looks like: Scope out projects from design to handover, identifying key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.Interface with customers at all stages of the project, managing the communication process of all key milestones, gaining approval, tracking change requests and negotiating changes to delivery dates and pricing, ensuring minimum disruption to the project delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction.Manage any problems or difficulties with a focus on excellent customer service, making timely interventions to ensure smooth delivery and project completion and communicating with internal and external partners to ensure clarity.Communicate in a timely fashion with the design teams any variations to proposals and clearly and accurately identifying pricing changes or specification and delivery changesPrepare and track budgets for each project, flagging issues in a timely fashion and managing the budget.Work with sales, engineering, logistics, and production teams to resolve problems concerning design, adherence to specifications and/or required standards, material procurement, production schedules, and related issues.Coordinate service of products, liaising between the client and Anord Mardix teams, overseeing service scheduling, ordering parts, coordinating any additional assets or needs, and following up to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction.The experience we're looking to add to our team, 2+ years demonstrated project management experienceProven ability to work on own initiative, problem solve and present potential solutions.A clear focus, understanding and desire to drive improvement across Safety, Quality and Production.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively overcome objections and communicate with people at all levels.Good computer skills, to include Microsoft Office Suite, etc.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Ability to travel 5% to 10% of the time as needed, often with little notice. Here are a few of our preferred experiences: PMP Certification or CAPM Certification, preferredKnowledge and understanding of safety & electrical codes, such as NFPA 70E, NEC Code, UL, IEC, and related standards.Knowledge and understanding of 3‐Phase Power, Electrical Power Generation and AC/DC Power Distribution.Strong technical understanding of set up and maintenance of manufacturing processes, experience in validation, and Lean Manufacturing.Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferredData center or equivalent mission critical system experience are strongly preferred.
