Job Description

　　Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager/Construction Coordinator for a client in the utilities space. This client is looking to bring on a contractor to help with contracting projects to get them out to construction and production. They will review bids that come in from construction contracts, report project status to leadership, and ensure internal requirements are being completed, as well as tracking project execution. The workflow of this role is seasonal as the construction starts in the spring, so the winter season will include work with bids. Once this individual feels comfortable within project management, they will start to incorporate construction coordination work, however, will be working onsite, not on the construction sites, with limited travel in the summer months, about 1 night/month. They should feel comfortable working with stakeholders within Right of Way, environmental groups, operations, and engineers to work with permitting and prepare projects for construction. The projects are done within Microsoft Project so experience with Microsoft products is a plus.

　　Experience within Project Management

　　o Not residential project management experience

　　 Shows high energy and has a go getter mentality

　　 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with experience working on multiple projects at one time.

　　 Knowledge of permitting

　　o Environmental permitting

　　o Right of Way permitting

　　 Good communication skills Understanding of utilities & energy industry

　　 Experience with pipelines

　　 Engineering Degree

　　 Microsoft Project null
