Position Description
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment Performance:Primary focal point to integrated product team for the fulfillment of spare part and special tool orders.Responsible for all orders from customers within an assigned customer list.Primary customer contact for all order fulfillment activities.Accountable for On Time Delivery performance of spare part and special tool orders; this includes, planning order fulfillment requirements, prioritizing customer requirements and ensuring requirements for order fulfillment are carried out by the integrated product team.Responsible for organizing, processing and returning warranty and repair orders for customers within assigned region.Participate in negotiating contracts and long term agreements with Aftermarket Services Team.Lead on preparation and delegation of proposals within a wide range of values within an assigned customer list.Participate in the development and implementation of strategic Aftermarket Services growth and maturity initiatives.Travel to customers in support of new and existing opportunities. Up to 15% travel is anticipated. Minimum Qualifications: Must have 7 years of experience in product and/or aftermarket services fulfillment roles.
Will consider a bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or a master's degree with 1 year of experience.Strong project management, organization, and planning skills.Strong communication and presentation skillsProficient computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Highly Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field is highly desiredExperience with Bushmaster® Chain Guns®Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
