Project Manager
KBR is looking for a Project Manager (PJM) to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting the readiness and sustainment of F-15 aircraft variants. This is a full-time hybrid position supporting Robins AFB, GA.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Applies principles, methods, and knowledge of specific functional areas of expertise to identify complex deficiencies and make recommendations for corrective actions
Work with government and contract team members to effectively communicate status of project schedule, budget, period of performance and associated risks
Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and customers
Provide professional services to military, commercial, and internal customers
Perform analysis of DOD and industry engineering standards and certification requirements
Work directly with engineering staff to responsible for supporting projects
Drafts technical reports, papers, and presentations
Develops, collects, sorts and analyze of various qualitative and quantitative data
Works independently with little supervision
Flexibility to perform other project support duties as required by Program Manager
This position is a supervisory role and will include supervisory duties.
Performance of primary job functions may require travel (less than 25%).
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and administration of government projects
Minimum 10 years related experience to include a minimum of 5 years Project Management or IPT Leader experience
Demonstrated experience maintaining F-15 aircraft
Bachelors Degree in science, business administration, engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficiency with MS Project and building and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems and innovate solutions
Experience developing technical documentation and reports
Strong organizational and personal skills
Experience developing and presenting executive level briefings
Experience effectively communicating with executive level decision makers
Knowledge of common concepts, hands-on practices, and procedures regarding USAF weapons system maintenance management/sustainment
Works under general supervision or ability to work without supervision; reports to the on-site Program Manager
Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in developing system design and performance requirements
Experience in qualification testing and product integration
Experience validating compliance according to corporate policies, associated regulations, and state/federal laws
Successful past performance in managing aircraft production staff
Corporate staff level experience
Experience evaluating aircraft health of fleet indicators
Project Management Professional PMI Certification
