Position Summary:As a critical member of the Client, the IT Project Manager is responsible for managing technology projects from concept to completion using general project management principles aligned to the district's way of work. The IT Project Manager will develop best practices and strategies to ensure project scope, budget, resource, communication, and project plans are developed with project leads and endorsed by executive sponsors prior to implementation. The IT Project Manager is an assertive, collaborative, and highly organized individual focused on the inputs and outputs necessary for the success of all projects.
Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related discipline.• Advanced degree in Information Technology or Project Management is preferred or successful completion of certification or courses in PMP or business analysis a plus.• Minimum of three (3) years project management experience.• Previous experience in information technology operations or project management required.• Evidence of strong, effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.• Ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to changes quickly.• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
