  Summary

  The Project Management Intern, Continuous Improvement is responsible for the execution of company programs including cost, schedule, and technical performance. The Intern, CI supports and manages all CI activities necessary to meet business goals and objectives. Acting as the central focal point and authority for one or more CI initiative, the Intern, CI provides a single point of contact for continuous improvement activities to both internal and external customers.

  Position Responsibilities:

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement

  Analyze current processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimization

  Assist in the development and implementation of improvement initiatives, such as lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks

  Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of improvement initiatives and identify further areas for enhancement

  Participate in meetings and discussions to share ideas and insights for driving continuous improvement projects and initiatives

  Support the team in conducting training sessions or workshops to spread awareness of continuous improvement principles and methodologies

  Other duties as assigned

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

  Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in business, engineering, operations management, or related field

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  Detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.

  Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is a plus, but not required

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  Physical Demands:

  Required to sit and stand for long periods (Frequent); talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)

  Ability to work in an office environment (Constant)

  Special Requirements:

  U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) requiredThe salary range for this role is:

  $21 - $32
