Position Summary
Based in the Powell Acheson facility the Project Management Associate will report to the Operations Manager of the Powell Service Division and take daily direction from the Project Managers of the department. The Project Management Associate will be responsible for facilitating customer orders from order entry through to shipment. This includes order validation, scheduling coordination with production, change order negotiations, coordination of customer visits and facilitating witness testing between customer and QA department.
Essential Responsibilities
Work with Project Managers to resolve all order related issues with a focus on commercial and contractual obligations.
Work with Project Manager to provide proactive leadership between all disciplines to ensure all customer commitments are met.
Attend meetings as required to resolve issues and provide status updates.
Handle multiple projects independently and simultaneously.
Work with Project Manager to provide communications link between business and customers regarding order status and progress.
Other duties as required.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
Detail oriented and results driven.
Demonstrated ability to make good decisions based on limited information.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Excellent computer skills and skilled in the use of project scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, ERP system).
BS/BA Degree with minimum 2 years relevant progressive work experience.
Able to manage multiple competing priorities.
Learn policies and procedures, work instruction, ISO policies, Safety Rules and Regulations, and vendor products.
Working Conditions
Temperature controlled working environment.
Must wear personnel protective equipment at all times (i.e., hard hats, safety glasses, safety harnesses as required) and respirators when required.
Job requires working in an office setting. There may be some exposure to the manufacturing facility when touring customers.
Working in front of a computer for the majority of the shift.
This position is expected to travel approximately 5-10% and must be able to travel with short notice and/or for extended periods of time.
