As a Power System Proposals Engineer, you’ll interpret electrical diagrams and provided by customers in order to provide complete technical proposals.
As Power System Proposals Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
Analyze and evaluate business opportunities suitable for the company in order to provide information that helps determine the technical/economic viability of SEL projects.
Interpret the client's specifications and requirements to generate an innovative technical proposal that meets the specifications and that makes use of SEL technology.
Ask clarifying questions about the scope of the project or applicable specifications to ensure a clear understanding of the scope and avoid ambiguities during the execution of the projects.
Budget the costs related to the technical offer, according to the defined procedures to allow the Sales Managers to determine the sale price of the project or service to be supplied.
Provide technical and economic elements in the delivery of the projects won to the operational area in order to transmit all the information available during the quotation process to the execution team.

This job might be for you if:
You have worked in a technical engineering role with HV power system protection and control.
You have an understanding of one line diagrams for transmission and distribution systems and can appropriately select PLC's and IED's to meet customer power systems management needs.
Your educational background is in electrical engineering.
You are willing to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and abroad.
You have strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Location
This position is located in our Madrid, Spain office which is located near the Ramón y Cajal train station and has good access to metro and bus transport.
