Job Purpose and Impact
The Build Project Engineer will plan, monitor, execute and coordinate low complexity build projects. In this role, you will ensure that the goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget. You are the lead engineer for civil, mechanical and piping disciplines and work closely with the electrical, instrumentation and automation engineers.
Key Accountabilities
Manage low complexity projects and act as the lead engineer for civil, mechanical and piping disciplines for all projects.
Help implement the strategic vision to the project team and ensure best practices are incorporated in project delivery to champion safety, meet regulatory requirements and deliver build projects with excellence.
Assist in the implementation of project management best practices based on thorough knowledge.
Collaborate with cross functional professionals to leverage knowledge and strategies to effectively plan projects.
Proactively plan and schedule project progress and key metrics to mitigate risk and increase project performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure the business value and benefits are enabled.
Provide engineering support to plant personnel.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or in a related field or equivalent experience
Two years of related work experience is preferred
Dutch speaking or willing to learn
English and/ or French are a plus
